Description

A Gal Named Joe - MAC SALES with THE ESQUIRE TRIO b/w Yakety Yak - MAC & JAKE with THE ESQUIRE TRIO (Meteor 5022)  

Original 1955 rockabilly 45. Fine 2-sider, though in reality this is more a 'hillbilly boogie' sound than rockabilly, w/ boogie piano & pedal steel. MAC SALES = the great Sun recording artist, MALCOLM YELVINGTON, incognito. A fairly hard-to-find disc & this copy plays really nice.

Disc = looks VG- to VG, but plays much better, sounds very good; very slight warp, not affecting play/Labels = ring/label wear/rub (worse on the B-label - see pic); 2 small tears on the B-label
