Description
This is the original 1958 release of “That’ll Be the Day” by Buddy Holly, Decca Records black and silver label #DL-8707. The cover is in fair condition with water stain along bottom edge and along front right side. Top is split full length along seam and back has a fold crease near top left. There are no markings or writing to be found. The paper sleeve inside has yellowed with age and says “Modern Records” so it is probably not the one that came with the record, although I am only guessing. The album inside is very nice with only light scratches, some of which might disappear with a professional cleaning.
All of the records I am listing could probably use a good cleaning by the right person, I did not wipe or tough them other than taking the pictures. I’m not a collector so I’m not able to “grade” the album nor do I have a player to listen to it. Everyone has their own idea of what VG or NM should be so I’m not going to attempt that one.
