Description

Here's an original 1960 Blue Note jazz album (BLP 4245/84245) of one of the greatest jazz groups ever to play. Art Blakey's Jazz Messengers delivered a phenomenal performance with Lee Morgan trumpet, Wayne Shorter tenor, Bobby Timmons piano and Jymie Merritt bass on the recording. They were a young, energetic and explosive quintet just then making a name for themselves.

It appears this album has been well appreciated for years since it's still around. It's in good condition although the cover shows its age. There are remnants of scribbling on the front which was cleaned off at some point. The record itself has a few scuffs but plays and sounds good.

This album is one for the ages. A must-have in any respectable jazz collection.
