Original 1961 Beach Boys Surfin - Luau “X” 45 RPM - G+ - READ DESCRIPTION. Condition is Used. Shipped with USPS First class mail


Hello, up for sale today is the mega rare Original 1961 Beach boys Surfin - Luau 45 RPM on the “X” record label. This is the First Beach boys 45 ever and one of the rarest. This 45 came out after the Candix 331 45 which was released in November of 1961. Then this 45 was released in December of 1961. You don’t see many of these and they don’t come around often.


Let’s talk condition. The condition of this 45 is ROUGH and that’s why the 45 grades a G+. The record is cover in numerous light scratches on both the A and B side. The Luau side is much worse and the label has a tear on it. Also there is a slight warp that I tried to picture the best way possible and that is shown in picture (8). The next point of concern is that there is a very minor crack in the 45. Picture (9) shows the crack and then picture (10) shows the crack when it’s put back in to place. The crack is rather hard to see and you would have to take the record out of place to see it.

When I played the 45 it played Farley well with no skips but it did have some surface noise on both sides.


Overall this is not a bad condition 45, but it’s not the best one out there. I have in my Beach boys collection a Near Mint copy of this 45 and it’s time that someone gets my (2) copy. This 45 is extremely sought after so please don’t miss out. All reasonable offers will be considered!!
