Original 1963 Ritchie Valens Memorial Album Del-Fi 1225
This is the Original Ritchie Valens Memorial Album which was released by Del-Fi Records in 1963. This is the First compilation by Ritchie Valens featuring his 1st three charted hits plus tracks from the previous three albums. The original album was issued with a black album cover and the same photo of Valens from his second album "Ritchie". A few months later, the album was retitled "Ritchie Valens, His Greatest Hits" and repackaged with a white album cover and a photo of Ritchie taken from his Del-Fi LP "Ritchie Valens Sings" (DFLP-1111). Both issues include the same back cover and album contents.
Side One includes: Donna, We Belong Together, From Beyond, Stay Beside Me, Bluebirds Over The Mountain, & In a Turkish Town.
Side Two included: Malaguena, La Bamba, Come On Let's Go, Rockin' All Night, Cry, Cry, Cry, & Hurry Up.
In excellent condition! Still has the Cellophane wrapper and the Original Price Sticker of $.97 from Globe Store. The cellophane is torn at the bottom of the album. I know my photos may show damage to the album cover. There is none. This is mainly glare from my overhead lights. I have shown any areas of concern. The opening of the album cover is naturally worn. The included photo of the opening shows the worse area of wear at the top.
The album itself is in excellent condition. There are no major scratches on either side. I only see fingerprints which I will clean off before shipping.
