Description
Here is a CLASSIC vintage "roots of rock" album from my collection offered up for sale: Legendary Chuck Berry's 1964 album "Greatest Hits", this is a 1st pressing with the "black and silver" labels and no song titles on the cover, released by Chess 1485 MONO.
This pressing was released in 1964 just as The Beatles were coming to America, is valued for it's rarity and historical contribution rather than it's audio quality, but it still plays great and the bright music comes through, cool! Classic songs and RARE collectable!
The vinyl grades VG, is clean and glossy, has several faint sleeve marks, some light marks and a couple more moderate marks, has been PLAY TESTED! Plays through from start to finish with no skips or jumps, has some light noise, nothing terribly annoying, clear sound with errant pops, still a very enjoyable listen! One label has a signature. The cover rates VG, front is clean and bright with minimal ring wear, the edges have light wear to color and a few small bends, no splits, no tape, binder edge readable, no signatures or writing, back has some age discoloration near edges and several very light spot stains, a couple small tears to back slick at top and bottom edges. Will be shipped in a protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in paper inner sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
