Original 1964-65 Hear the Beatles Tell All Vee Jay LP (A REAL ONE, for sure )

I KNOW WHAT YOU’RE THINKING! This is another fake/bootleg or later copy of this Beatles Vee Jay LP. BUT, NOT TRUE!!! This LP is the REAL DEAL from the 1960s. Read on and find out how we know.

(I am continuing to sell more Beatles and Beatles-related vinyl, mostly duplicates, from my own extensive collection. So, please check my other auctions for vinyl you may want for your own collection.)

In This Auction: 

·       “HEAR THE BEATLES TELL ALL”  by The Beatles 

·       This LP is Vee Jay Records PRO 202. (It is not a Promo Pressing as “PRO” often designates.)

·       It is a MONO (Monaural) LP. 

·       This VJ Interview LP was released in 1964-1965.

·       Side 1 Label states: “Interviews by Jim Steck and Dave Hull” and “Jim Steck  Interviews John Lennon”

·       Side 2 Label reads: “Interviews by Jim Steck and Dave Hull” and “Dave Hull Interviews John, Paul, George, Ringo”

·       THIS LP IS A REAL (TRUE) 1960s PRESSING!!! How do we know? Here is the information from Perry Cox and Frank Daniels:

1)   LP cover has “PRO 202” printed on the front and rear cover at the top right corners. (If “STEREO” is on the cover, the LP is a later issue from 1979 and that LP is NOT in stereo).

2)   The vinyl has a black label with rainbow color band and brackets VJ logo.

3)   The labels have “VJLP 202” printed on them without the “PRO” designation.   

·       There are MANY copies of this LP for sale even at record shows and used vinyl stores that are being sold as the original 1964-1965 pressing. These have “STEREO” printed on the cover and are 1979 re-issues of the LP OR fake/bootleg copies. Don’t be fooled!

·       The COVER is graded VERY STRONG VG+ to WEAK NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There is a small corner crease on the top left corner and a small corner “push” or “bump” on the bottom left corner. A name is written in blue ball-point ink on the rear cover in the bottom right corner. There is a little bit of slight flaking on the top seam near the spine. The bottom left corner at the base of the spine is “bald”. The cover is NICE: It’s CLEAN and WHITE!!! 

·       The VINYL is in STRONG VG+ to NEAR MINT MINUS CONDITION. There are 2 very light surface scuffs on Side 1 that do not affect play at all. There are a few very light slight surface hairlines/scuffs on Side 2 that also do not affect play. Vinyl on both sides is GLOSSY!!!

·       This LP comes with its original Vee Jay Records paper inner sleeve that pictures other VJ albums. This inner sleeve has a few tears and 3-4 inch splits on all 3 sides of the sleeve.

·       It’s a NICE COPY of this HARD-TO-FIND BEATLES LP THAT IS A GENUINE 1965-1965 PRESSING to add to your vinyl collection.
