Description

Bleeker & MacDougal LP - FRED NEIL (Elektra EKL-293)

Original 1965 U.S. MONO PROMOTION PREVIEW COPY LP. 13 tracks, including: the title song, "Blues On The Ceiling," "Mississippi Train," "Travelin' Shoes," "Gone Again," more. Excellent debut folk/folk-rock (w/ a strong blues feel too) album by this revered singer-songwriter. W/ JOHN SEBASTIAN on harmonica on several tracks,  FELIX PAPPALARDI on bass, plus PETE CHILDS on dobro & electric guitar. This is the not-too-common b&w promo label copy. W/ nice full color front cover; cover has seen better days tho the vinyl sounds teriffic.

Disc = Looks VG+ (many lite hairlines), but plays much better - sounds GREAT!

Cover = front - lite general wear, all corners chewed up, lite chipping along bottom edge & 2 chips along spine edge, wear/chipping along right edge; back - much general wear/browning, staining along top portion & bottom edge, paper chipping along bottom edge; chipping on top & bottom edges & a couple on the spine

Labels = very slight wear/chipping around center hole

Long-time vinyl fiend here. Grading is very strict & satisfaction is guaranteed, bid/buy with confidence. All vinyl has been cleaned, all records are graded both aurally and visually. I use NEAR MINT- to NEAR MINT (my highest grade)/EX/VG, w/ +/- variables. No excessive shipping or 'handling' charges - buyer will pay approximately what the USPS charges me for shipping, give or take a bit.
