Description

Up for bid is this original 1966 vinyl LP record copy of “Pet Sounds” by The Beach Boys.  This was released on Capitol Records (T-2458) and is a monophonic version.  This is the Abbey Record Manufacturing pressing which is identified by an “AB” etched in the runouts, and by the expanded “PET SOUNDS” printed on the rainbow edge record labels.  Further the runout etchings include “T1-2458-A 9-27-66 AB 10-66” on side A, and “T2-2458-B- 9-27-66 9-27-66 AB 10-66” on side B.  The record is in VG+ with some very minor surface scratches.  It plays very well with very little to no background noise.  You won’t be disappointed with the sound quality.  The original inner sleeve is in excellent to near mint condition and the outer sleeve is VG+ condition with no seam splits and only very minor wear.  There is a last name written in ink on the upper front edge and very faintly on the yellow part of the rainbow edge of the label (see pictures).  The record has long been stored in a non-smoking home in an outer plastic protective sleeve.  This is a no reserve auction.  Shipping on this item is a flat $3.95 anywhere in the 48 continental United States. We only ship to U.S. addresses in the 48 continental United States on this item and do combine shipping for multiple items.  Returns are always accepted if you are not satisfied.  Payment is expected within 7 days.  Thanks for looking.
