Description

Here is a RARE vintage original album offered up for sale: The debut album self titled "The Doors", their 1967 album released by Elektra Records EKS 74007 Stereo, this is a 1st pressing with the gold "Big E" labels and inner sleeve. Has the stamp for the acclaimed mastering studio Monarch, the "circle MR" symbol in the dead wax, cool! Has been well cared for 50 year old original!
The vinyl rates VG+/EX, is very glossy and clean, a few light marks to glossy disc, has been PLAY TESTED and plays great from start to finish with very good audio quality, clear sound with a few light pops, no skips or jumps, a very enjoyable listen! The cover rates VG+, is clean and bright with only light ring wear, has a couple light corner bends, otherwise seams are solid, binder edge is EX and readable, opening edge has tiny bump at center with a couple tiny splits somewhat unnoticeable), no tape, no signatures or writing. Includes original vintage printed inner sleeve, small center splits neatly taped, otherwise clean and bright. (see all photos)
Will be shipped in a protective plastic outer sleeve inside a secure record mailing box with tracking number. Vinyl will be shipped in paper sleeve outside cover to prevent cover splits.
