Bitter Sweet LP - THE HANGMEN (Monument SLP 18077)
Original 1967 U.S. stereo LP. 11 tracks, including: "Faces," "What A Girl Can't Do," "Isn't That Liz," "Gloria," more. Maddening inconsistent garage/psych album from this D.C. combo. When they're on their game (the above noted tracks), they're capable of tuff fuzz garage w/ some psych tendencies. Unfortunately, they lean a little too much towards the pop side in the majority of the remaining cuts. Still, a pretty decent major label LP, and this is the more elusive stereo copy. Cover still in original shrink & vinyl in EXTRA SWEEET condition.
Disc = EX+ to NEAR MINT- / Cover = IN SHRINK; front - very lite diagonal crease near lower left corner, slight wear in upper & lower right corners, very slight right edge wear; back - chunk of shrink missing in upper left, very small lite crease in lower left corner / Labels = faint spindle marks around center hole
