Description
Here for auction today is a stunning and rare 1st pressing of David Bowies' 1975 Hit LP "Young Americans" with matrix stamps A-1E B-2E. The labels are clean and without spindle traces at all and side one has a couple of very faint lines that cross the label and is,I believe from years of storage but is hardly noticeable,please refer to the photos to confirm this so is EX+ and side two is near mint.
The vinyl has no scratches or rub marks and is a beautiful sight without any visible marks.....There are only the tiniest sleeve removal marks and I can assure you that when you see this copy,you will be very pleased to own such a clean example and under strong light looks super nice on both sides and even under strong light,you have to look really close to see these tiniest sleeve marks and the moment you do you will know immediately that you have a visually super looking LP and a Mint- audio copy. So the vinyl to both sides visually is near mint(very fair grade!) and the audio is Mint- and plays as good as a new copy,really is that nice.
The Robert Stace printed unlaminated sleeve I grade as Near mint as there is only the most minimal shelf wear and looks stunning,please refer to the many photos to see this super nice condition sleeve,should add also that the entrance points to the sleeve have nice,tight lines,showing hardly any wear,also this LP has the original inner sleeve which I also grade as near mint,has a new look,hardly any creases and no age related discoloration.
All together this is a rare version of this LP and very seldom turn up with such a clean play grade and will be a deffinate upgrade for any collector/Fan and is a very clear and entertaining listen.
