Item - Beatles "Yesterday & Today" Butcher Cover - Original Mono

Description - This auction is for an original "second state" (paste-over) Yesterday & Today lp by the Beatles.  Underneath is the famous butcher cover!  You can see the black V in Ringo's turtleneck sweater quite clearly about an inch and a half to the right of the trunk's lid, and there are other lines that are lightly visible in other places as well.  Great find!

The downside is that the cover isn't in all that great shape.  There is a tear halfway down the spine (see pic) and another in the center of the bottom seam.  I was considering taping them, but figured I'd leave that to the pros - you!  There is also some typical ring wear on the front and back.

The mono record has a few surface scuffs, but there is almost no spindle wear.  I have not played the record to test it.  It comes with a plain white (though quite torn) inner sleeve.  I will pack the record outside of the cover for shipping.

These original "butcher covers" aren't getting any easier to find, and they will only increase in value in the future.  Here's a great chance to pick one up with no reserve!

• I ship strictly via USPS Priority Mail unless it is an oversized, or very heavy article.  The reasons for this are:  1 - It gets to you faster, 2 - Less time in transit = less time USPS has to try to break it, 3 - USPS provides boxes, so unless it is a large item, I don't have to charge any packaging fees.  This has been a personal policy and it has worked out quite well for folks.
• International Bidders - I will ship internationally, but only if the bidder contacts me BEFORE placing a bid, since shipping charges can vary greatly to outside the US.
