Original UK Stereo Columbia SAX 2316 & 2317 Blue Silver ES1 MARIA CALLAS Lucia di Lammermoor DONIZETTI TULLIO SERAFIN 1959
One of many quality ORIGINAL mainly UK FIRST PRESSING classical recordings I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is a PAIR (TWO ALBUMS) UK original Stereo Columbia Sax 2316 & 2317 Blue & Silver ES1 label. Matrix numbers YAX 309-13, YAX 310-8, YAX 311-1, YAX 312-4. Original liner sleeves. The labels are in MINT condition. Outer sleeves are SUPERB and look just LIKE NEW. 1959 printed date to cover. The vinyl is SUPERB, NEAR MINT - just a couple of absolutely minor wispy marks, probably only played once perhaps twice MAXIMUM. THIS PAIR OF ALBUMS ARE AS GOOD AS YOU'LL FIND - ARCHIVE QUALITY, FINAL UPGRADE. Any lines visible in my scans are simply light reflections and not on the vinyl.
