Original Columbia SAX 2352 Blue Silver ES1 BEETHOVEN "Archduke" DAVID OISTRAKH TRIO 1959
One of many quality ORIGINAL mainly UK FIRST PRESSING classical recordings I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is a UK original Stereo Columbia Sax 2352 Blue & Silver ES1 label. Original liner sleeve in great condition. The labels are in MINT condition. Outer sleeve is excellent - one small piece of lower flip back missing and small number code neatly entered to top left rear corner. The vinyl is SUPERB - just a couple of minor wispy marks - I test played and there was one very minor mark producing a light click for about 5 revolutions but it was almost negligible. Probably only played once perhaps twice MAXIMUM. Any lines visible in my scans are simply light reflections and not on the vinyl. SEE ALL 12 SCANS USING THE ENLARGEMENT FACILITY TO FULLY APPRECIATE.
