Original DECCA SXL box set 201/2/3 ED1 WIDE BAND Die Fledermaus HERBERT VON KARAJAN Vienna Philharmonic 1960
One of many quality ORIGINAL classical recordings MAINLY UK FIRST PRESSINGS I will be listing over the coming days all from a SUPERB ONE OWNER COLLECTION purchased new in the "Golden Age" 1950s-60s. I have acquired the collection direct from the gentleman's widow - they were bought from new, mostly PLAYED ONCE on highest quality equipment and recorded on reel to reel and then ARCHIVED away. Hence most of the vinyl in this collection is unmarked and just like new. I will point out any flaws (should there be any) as I individually list each one.
This one is DECCA SXL box set 201/2/3 Wide Band (ED1 label - "Original Recording" at 10 O clock), 1960 on booklet & labels. Original liner sleeves in super condition. The labels are in beautiful condition. Outer VELVET covered box is in near mint condition with no splits or damage to corners or wear to the velvet. The vinyl looks great, looking like only been played one or two times MAXIMUM. Complete with booklet and additional insert. Overall it must rate at NEAR MINT - you'll NOT find a better example.
