Original Dixieland Jass Band--Victor 18255


Original 78rpm record, Victor 18255, Original Dixieland Jass Band, Dixieland Jass Band One-Step b/w Livery Stable Blues. Recorded 26 February 1917. Playing surface is still quite shiny with very few minor scratches and moderate background noise. Light label wear but no chips, cracks or other damage. Nice clean example of what most collectors and historians consider the "first" jazz record [at least, the first commercially successful record with "Jazz" in its title] and is in VG condition.
