"Mystery Train"
I recently inherited all of my mothers old records from the 1950's, and while I have no idea what all I have - I do know that all of them are original and have been stored away for many years and were actually purchased by her. I have seen that the Elvis Presley "Mystery Train" on Sun Records is highly sought after so I thought I would begin here by listing the Rare #223 record that was found in her collection. I have included below some close-up pictures of both sides and the sleeve so that you can see the beautiful condition that it is in. The only problem that I see worth mentioning is she had put a white label on the record that says her Name, part of the label came off very easy but I am afraid to try and peel the rest of it off as I am sure that there is a way of making sure the Sun record label does not get damaged and with a record of this value I will leave that up to the new owner. The Sun label has NOT!! been damaged where I peeled off part of the white label, the pictures below should clearly show that all of the white that you can see in the pictures is sitting on top of the Sun Label and can be removed by someone who knows what they are doing. The record has no skips, no cracks , no chips and would definately look great if it was professionally mounted and framed. Once again this has been in my family and is 100% guaranteed original
