Description
Extremely Rare Original Larry Lurex (Freddie Mercury) Demo 7" Single 'I can hear music'. Condition is Used. Plays well but has some crackling and blemishes. This is a genuine 1973 demo single with the push-out centre marked 'Demo Record - Not for Resale' and is a Collectors' item, as detailed in Record Collector's 'Rare Record Price Guide'. Dispatched with Royal Mail Tracked 48 with signature.
On 13-May-19 at 13:24:36 BST, seller added the following information:A side - 'I Can Hear Music' and B side - 'Goin’ Back'. These songswere recorded during the summer of 1973 by Freddie,Roger and Brian while theywere waiting for available studio time to work on their debut album. A Tridentproducer Robin Cable was working on this Beach boy song and thought Freddie’svoice was perfect for it. Goin’ Back was an old Goffin & King song.
This is a demo copy of the official 7? released on 29th June 1973. Onthe label you find stamped the date 1/6/73, which probably refers to the dateit was released to radio stations and DJs. The matrix number is stamped(EMI 2030 A 1-U) .Regular stock copies omits the “demo records not for sale”and the date overprints. (Data courtesy of QueenMuseum.com)price rating
