About the album:
'The Dark Side Of The Moon' is possibly THE album that everyone has heard or, at least, has heard of. It represented space rock, or rock, with sonic layers that is still unmatched today. It peaked at #1 for only one week on the Billboard chart but is legendary for remaining on the chart for 741 weeks!
From Wikipedia:
-In 2006, it was voted "My Favourite Album" by the Australian Broadcasting Corporation's audience.
-In 2009, Planet Rock listeners voted the album the "greatest of all time".
-The album is also number two on the "Definitive 200" list of albums, made by the National Association of Recording Merchandisers "in celebration of the art form of the record album".
