Original Nirvana "Come As You Are" (1992 12" Single) UK vinyl 12" picture disc


This picture disc is pre-owned and is a 1992 UK pressing on the Geffen label catalog no. DGCTP7.


Before I get to the condition, allow me to explain how the jacket is assembled in this case: the back cover has two tabs the length of the cover that fold in, then that cover folds to meet the front cover. Adhesive is applied prior to the back cover tabs so when folded together the front cover sticks to those back cover tabs. Sometimes, over time, that adhesive weakens and the front cover just detaches from one or both tabs.


In this case, the adhesive on the bottom weakened and the bottom of the front cover detached from the back cover tab. I repaired it, but not necessarily permanently...but it is fine for now - the inner sleeve and record can go in and out at will. Other than that there is some minor edge wear and minor discoloration to the cover. The vinyl has visible surface scuffs that do not affect play, the inner sleeve is a clear plastic sleeve that is used almost specifically for picture discs - and it has a couple creases.
