A vintage original Terre Haute Press first press vinyl LP copy of Blizzard of Ozz - Ozzy Osbourne (1981), Jet Records, Catalog# JZ 36812. LP sleeve condition: In VG (Very Good) condition with some creases, corner wear, minor edge wear, and a bit of spine wear. Some wear near the jacket opening. The jackets I see are usually in pretty rough shape, but this one is in decent shape considering its age. The inner sleeve is in VG+ with a couple of creases. Vinyl record: In a strong VG+ condition with no major scuffs/scratches on either side. Some light play marks, but nothing major (see pictures for greater details). Both inner labels are clean and complete.
Blizzard of Ozz is the debut solo studio album by Ozzy Osbourne. It was released in the U.S. on March 27,1981. This is one of two albums recorded with guitarist Randy Rhodes before his death in 1982. Blizzard of Ozz is ranked #9 on Rolling Stone's list of Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. Two singles were released: "Crazy Train" and "Mr. Crowley". The album went to #21 on the US Billboard 200 chart. The album sold 5 million copies in the United States and was certified 5x Platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
