Description
Original and RARE McKay "Into You" private press Indiana psych classic from the mid 70's. Nice collection of tunes played by a then young Ray Pierle, brother Glen and four other band members. This original press was limited to 300 copies and rarely turns up with a cover in this condition. There are no splits and the cover is completely in tact. There is slight staining on the back of the cover as seen in the photos.
The LP is VG with several light scuffs and thin feelable scratches throughout both sides, with the heaviest on the "B" side. The record plays fine with no skipping throughout the needle thin scratches, but does produce pops and ticks randomly throughout. They do not seem as noticeable on the heavier tracks, but do stand out in the quieter parts of the record. Other than the random pops and ticks, the record still has full sound and gloss in the grooves. The labels are beautiful on both sides. Other than the thin but numerous scratches, this elusive record still deserves a good home by an owner who does not mind a bit of noise mixed among Pierle's genius guitar playing and unique vocal styling that make this among one of the best local psych rock records to come out of Indiana.
