A touch of history:
JAMES AVERY WITTER Senoir was born in Charlotte, North Carolina and in the early 50s became a local radio jock with a finger on the pulse of this new thing called ROCK & ROLL. (My father was friends with Jimmy at (I think) WTLK radio.) Becoming increasingly popular Jimmy knew how to market his craft. Radio Stations on both coasts wanted him as did several record companies. United Artists, Elvis, Neptune to name a few. He went into performing in 1955 and recorded this primitive nugget in 1956. THIS ORIGINAL COPY IS a Super rare rockabilly 45 from the late 50's by Jimmy Witter & The Shadows on Elvis Records. Not surprisingly, Col Tom Parker shut this unauthorized operation down quick so only a few of these 45's survived thus making it one of the holy grails of rockabilly collecting and very difficult to find. (The fact that Witter's style and voice is similar to Elvis's may be a reason for the shut down by Col Parker.)

My mom, (born in 1925) saved everything! This was in the sleeve and neatly stacked between paper towels. I found 3, sold 2, so this is the last one! Label reads UNBREAKABLE!
