Howdy folks....I recently purchased a mega collection of Arizona 45's and after spending some time sorting through all of them for upgrades and missing titles, I'm ready to offer these desert biscuits to the world. I'm starting at the top of the list with some pricier items, but not to worry, the price will be lowered until sold.
FOR SALE: Killer R&B Black Arizona Rocker by Jimmie "Playboy" Knight with soulful vocal by Henry"Mojo" Thompson titled "Little Ann" on the PHYNK label #1753 from 1962. Flip "At Nadines Ebony Door" is a very cool Guitar/sax instro. "Little Ann" features not one, but two greasy guitar breaks by the "White Ike" Jimmie Knight. Wailing, frantic saxes played by Mike Metko (Checkers, Versatiles, Nocturnals, Vice-Roys, Bro. Zee etc.) and Bernard Williams (Dyke). Check out a You Tube clip if unfamiliar with this one.
Vinyl condition is solid VG++ visually. Labels are M-. Comes with original and a new paper sleeve. NOTE THAT THIS IS NOT A REPRO OF THIS DISC. THIS IS AN ORIGINAL COPY FROM 1962. This is a 45 rpm record. A nice copy! See scan.
