Description
Although Gary Usher is probably best known for his work in the late 60s with the Byrds, Beach Boys and the Firesign Theatre, his efforts early in the decade were a seminal part of the surf and drag movement. In 1964, one of the projects that he created was a record for the Hawk model company to accompany the popular Weird-Ohs and Silly Surfers kits. Of his many recordings, this is probably his rarest.
This original record is in good condition with a few repairs made over the years to the cover and inner sleeve. The vinyl has very little surface noise, few marks, and of course, no skips. Please feel free to ask questions during the auction.
