Description

Colourful vintage “generic” promo poster for the XTC concert series, supporting the release of their album “Drums and Wires”, released 1979. Virgin – V2129. Hence, stating “Live” on the poster. Has a white band her the info on when and where should be put.  

Size approx. 86 cm x approx. 60 cm. 

XTC : Formed : Swindon, Wiltshire, United Kingdom, active 1977-2005. 
Musically adventurous group from Swindon, UK, who first made an impact as a post-punk new wave band but have refused to be pigeonholed, recording dub, folk-rock, psychedelia and pure pop as the mood takes them. Original line-up was Andy Partridge (voice & guitar), Colin Moulding (bass & vocals), Barry Andrews (keyboards - replaced by Dave Gregory in 1979) and Terry Chambers (drums - replaced by Peter Phipps in 1982).

Take a close look onto the photo. Light wrinkles from water damage. No thumbtack holes or tape marks.
