Ornette Coleman Rare UK Test Press LP Change of the century EX 61 LTZK15199 MONO
Rare UK Test Pressing LP released in 1961 on London Records. Cat: LTZ-K 15199. This album is in MONO. Matrix numbers are : AML-1646-1B CA/ AML-1647-1B CA. Although whoever owned it has written the Australian Cat. number on label the matrix numbers would indicate a UK pressing and the cover is definitely a UK cover.
The second album by Ornette Coleman's legendary quartet featuring Don Cherry, Charlie Haden, and Billy Higgins, Change of the Century is every bit the equal of the monumental The Shape of Jazz to Come, showcasing a group that was growing ever more confident in its revolutionary approach and the chemistry in the bandmembers' interplay.

There are a few light spindle marks on labels. Record has some light scuff marks that cause a few light crackles and is in Excellent condition. Gloss cover with cutaway back flaps has light ringw ear and marks and is in VG++ condition.
Wrapping method: All records are sent in stiff cardboard mailers then wrapped in brown paper and sealed around edges with brown packaging tape. Records are taken out of sleeve to avoid seam splits and ring wear.
