Description

Ornette Coleman Town Hall 1962 Test Pressing ESPM Disk 1006, Generic Sleeve.

This is a confirmed test pressing of Ornette Coleman at Town Hall in 1962. I don't know anything more than what you see in the pictures. I have listened to the recording and can confirm that it is the music from the Town Hall release.
Jacket is generic. The original owner has listed the songs and personnel in marker on the cover. He has ordered the songs wrong according to the official release. there are a few notations and dates but I can't decipher their meaning. He titled "Dedication to Poets and Writers" as "Salute to Artists". Please see the pictures for the exact wording.
The labels are white with ESPM-1006-A on Side One with the date 10/12/65. Side Two reads ESPM-1006-B with the date 10/12/65.
I am going to start the pricing at $150 but am willing to listen to all offers. I would love to hear from those who might have more insight on this pressing.
All vinyl is play graded and visually graded. Inner sleeve has been replaced with a Mobile Fidelity Sound anti static sleeve. Outer sleeve will be included to protect record and jacket during shipping.
