Description
This edition was pressed (to the best of my knowledge) in 1966. There are a couple of earlier editions which play down the fact that Liberty acquired Blue Note in 1965. However I would say that this is every bit as good as any pressing of this album. It has the "VAN GELDER" stamp on the run out.
The album sounds first class throughout with only minimal, occasional surface noise & the American sleeve is 100% intact with no splits.
Two of the corners are a tiny bit scruffy & there is some minor damage to the spine. There is also an amount of foxing to the front & back of the sleeve which hopefully my camera has picked up.
There is a notable hairline scratch across most of Track 1/Side 1 just going over Track 2 which does not sound. There are a handful of minor scuffs just visible on the playing surfaces which don't sound either.
Includes original inner sleeve.
