from the Carol Reed Motion Pictured Production THE THIRD MAN, aka "The Harry Lime Theme"
performed in 1949 by Guy Lombardo and His Royal Canadians.
It was so popular in the 1950s it posted No.1 for 11 weeks on Billboard's US best sellers chart!!!
The instrumental guitar solo was performed by Don Rodney with Guy Lombardo's band
for both THE THIRD MAN Theme, A side and The Cafe Mozart Waltz, B side.
The vinyl record, licensed and produced by Decca Records, Inc. NYC,
was manufactured by Teichiku Records Co., Ltd., Japan.
The record features the original Japanese-language lyrics pamphlet.
(Please google THE THIRD MAN Theme for lyrics.)
The record and lyrics pamphlet was a DVD store premium available to fans a few years later
from the re-release on January 31, 1976.
The record grading is good (G+), the sleeve grading is also good (G+) and the lyrics pamphlet looks NM-MT.
(Actually, the record does not look like it has been played much and has been stored properly)
The 10" record is a black color, a single play type, has a speed of 78 RPM and runs 2:54 minutes.
The vinyl matrix number is 25581, and has a fidelity level of high-fidelity.
This item is an import from Japan and is perfect for collectors and music enthusiasts alike.
Please look closely at the photos as it shows the identical cinema items you are buying.
It is not restored, it is not cropped, it is not a stock image - you are receiving the exact record and pamphlet
that was available in the Japanese DVD stores.
We do not sell copies or reprints.
