Description
This is Mercury Records MG C-603, Oscar Peterson Plays Cole Porter', a black Trumpet, deep groove, labeled, original mono issue of this early trio record featuring Barney Kessel and Ray Brown. The record is VG+(+); a strong VG+, showing just a few light marks on both sides. They do not effect the play, which is quiet throughout except for some occasional light background crackle, but no skips, no distortion and nothing to interfere with the enjoyment of the music. The beautiful David Stone Martin cover has a small amount of edge wear and a bit of writing in pen on the back, but is otherwise excellent and intact. The labels are excellent with only light spindle marks. This is an excellent collector's grade copy of this original mono issue.
