Fact is, on all but one cut, Oscar sings in the tradition of Nat, and does so brilliantly, on WHEN MY SUGAR WALKS DOWN THE STREET, SWEET LORRAINE, LITTLE GIRL, CALYPSO BLUES, UNFORGETTABLE, GEE BABY AIN’T I GOOD TO YOU, STRAIGHTEN UP AND FLY RIGHT, and EASY LISTENING BLUES, among others.
A unique outing, this the Limelight Japanese re-issue, the finest pressing available, here in a copy that is near mint throughout.
Best Nat King Cole tribute I have ever heard, bar none.
