Original 1962 33 1/3 rpm LP release by The Oscar Peterson Trio: Oscar Peterson/piano, Ray Brown/bass & Ed Thigpen/drums. Reportedly, this album was completely improvised at the recording session, with no prior work on arrangements. Result was a big success for the group, who came up with swinging spontaneous impressions of these seven compositions from Leonard Bernstein's, "West Side Story".

Copy at hand is an original first press Verve Records stereo LP from a warehouse find, with no cutout or promo markings. Cover is nicely preserved inside shrinkwrap with a tiny bit of wear to 3 of the corners. Disc within is, of course, Mint and unplayed. Please note: our stock of this warehouse find is almost gone!
