Description
Ossie & The Upsetters
"Turn Me On" b/w "True Love" 45 rpm 7" vinyl single
This is an original Jamaican pressing of this awesome RARE ska single. Released on C and N Records in 1966 (? - the U.K. release on Doctor Bird came out in 1967 and this was released before that, but I'm uncertain about the exact release date). Catalog #: CN 803/CN 804. Has the silver-print-on-blue C&N label. Vinyl matrix #'s: CS 0008/CS 0009. Recorded at Jamaica Recording Studio and produced by Clement Coxsone Dodd, these two vocal ska songs sound great! This is NOT the later U.K. release on Doctor Bird Records, but the original Jamaican pressing on C and N.SEE PICS BELOW!
CONDITION -
Jacket: N/A; comes in a generic paper sleeve.
Vinyl: EX-; nice and clean with only a few light surface marks that DO NOT affect play - NO skips or pops. Playback has a light crackle, but some of that may have been inherent to the Jamaican pressing. Label is also nice and clean with some light spindle-wear. TRACKS - TURN ME ON, TRUE LOVE
