Description

My favorite album by German rockers Wake Up.  Reminds me more of Amon Duul II then Jethro Tull, however the flute often brings comparrisons to the later.  Hard progressive music with lots of movement and english vocals.  Very, very good stuff.  The opening track "See How a White Negro Flies" combines progressive Krautrock with hard funk, which may appeal to some raregroove collectors.  Overall a really strong effort and one on the more enjoyable German albums for me.  This is pressed on Kuckuck label 11006-1.  Listen to sound clips below!
