On offer here is a very rare LP by The Rolling Stones called "Out Of Our Heads" and is an ORIGINAL 1965 UK pressing on the 'Grooved' Decca label.
THIS IS ONE OF THE ROLLING STONES RAREST & MOST SOUGHT AFTER LPs
WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL IS THAT IT IS IN STEREO
BACK IN 1965 WHEN THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED, VIRTUALLY EVERY LP WAS MADE IN COMMON MONO
SOMETIMES LATER 1960s STEREOs TURN UP FOR SALE - THOUGH THESE ARE VERY COMMON
THIS LP HAS EVERY SINGLE DETAIL - WHICH MAKES IT AN EARLY UK STEREO PRESSING
FIRSTLY THE DECCA LABELS ARE 'GROOVED' (LATER ONES AREN'T) SECONDLY THE LABELS ALSO HAVE THE CORRECT 'K/T' TAX CODING (LATER ONES DON'T) THIRDLY THE SLEEVE EDGE IS NARROWER AT THE ENDS THAN THE CENTRE & FOURTHLY THE WHITE FRONT SLEEVE BORDER IS NARROWER THAN THE REPRESSED VERSIONS
LASTLY THIS LP HAS MATRIX NUMBERS ZAL 6973 2W & ZAL 6974 2W
This is the ORIGINAL Decca UK Pressing from 1965 and is in GREAT condition. The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl!!!! The Cat. No is SKL 4733 on the UNBOXED 'Grooved' Decca label.
The record labels are in great condition with NO writing but numerous spindle marks. The vinyl is at least in VG+ condition. Most of these 60s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and although has some scuffs and a few light scratches, THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND SHINES LIKE NEW. It is also great to find that the record plays well with NO pops, barely ANY clicks, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL.
The sound quality is great. The record must grade Very Good+ if not better
I do not over grade my records - it is not in my interest to do so
The ORIGINAL 'Robert Stace' Laminated STEREO Cover has age creases and would be graded VG. It has some edge wear, some spinal wear, some corner wear, some slight yellowing, and NO writing.
The unlaminated back is in VG condition with some evidence of old tape and some discolouration but NO writing.
