Description

Outward Bound: ERIC DOLPHY bass clarinet, alto and flute  

RVG is stamped and NJLP 8263A and NJLP 8263B are hand written into the vinyl track run-out.

  • CONDITION/SLEEVE: Good. A few marks on front, some wear on back. Some fraying of the edge of the sleeve.

  • SLEEVE CONDITION GRADED ON A 1-10 SCALE: 7

  • CONDITION/LABEL: NEAR MINT.

  • LABEL CONDITION GRADED ON A 1-10 SCALE: 9.5.

  • CONDITION/VINYL:

  • SIDE 1: About 5 visible scratches, some general surface crackles

  • SIDE 2: Better than side A. Fewer visible scratches and less crackle.

  • SIDE 1 GRADED ON A 1-10 SCALE: 6

  • SIDE 2 GRADED ON A 1-10 SCALE: 7

I appreciate that this is an exceptionally rare find – I discovered it at a church sale. I do collect records but not an expert so struggle to grade the quality professionally. I've checked the LP out on my Rega 3 turntable with a decent stylus and seems pretty playable, with no jumps or skips. Great condition for a record from the 60s!

I live in the South of England, so if you wanted to look at the record you are most welcome. I could also ask my musician friend to make an mp3 of some parts of it if need be.

Whilst I have not included post in detail, I will post to anywhere except the few countries people usually will not post to where post is unlikely to be received.

I will of course insist on insurance / tracking etc charged to you.
