Own a piece of Hip hop history
the 1983 Profile Records pressing of
"Beat Bop" by Rammelzee vs. K-Rob
produced and arranged by Basquiat
no Basquiat record cover here, just the album
Vinyl is in great shape
not expert in vinyl nor grading
i'm an OCD comic book collector that has taken care of this album
ever since acquiring it in my collection.
to me, it felt like holding on to a piece of hip hop history.
the record itself is considered one of the most valuable hip hop records of all time
even though it's largely due to the affordable Basquiat art on the label, but also because of it's low print run of 500.
"This pressing has the 'bleep' version of the vocal mix."
this IS NOT a re-issue at all
Side one has a writing in blue marker: "Slow RAP" and rap is underlined
Side two has nothing written on it.
