Description
The version of the first P J Harvey demo cassette that got her signed to Too Pure in 1990. Hand-glued cassette inlay and labels done by the singer herself, featuring the versions of Dress, Sheela-Na-Gig, Happy & Bleeding and Plants & Rags that later appeared on the '4-track Demos' LP. This tape has only been played twice and was given to me by the band when they played their first London gig supporting Moonshake's first gig at the Moonlight Club in Hampstead.
The case is original and thus worn, while there is a tiny tear on the inside of the handmade inlay card.
NB: a small part of the intro to Dress is missing at the beginning, but this was how the tape was sent out originally. The tape has been play tested and works absolutely fine otherwise.
