Quintessentially French sounding Library groove mixing up heavy psychedelic pop / funk and underground rock. Yet another desirable set that showcases the hard and heavy drum skills of Pierre Alain Dahan. Our soundclip opens with the killer afro tinged funk rock and insane timbale percussion breaks (a la Ben & Platano Group) of LATIN AMERICAN ROCK followed by the monster 9min psychedelic masterpiece LONG PLAYING TIME with its strung-out funky lounge sound featuring pounding rock beats / aggressive hammond breaks / driving "In A Gadda Da Vida" bassline and hippie discotheque sound of the period. The slick and groovy SUMMER DISCOTHEQUE theme with another hip In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida-eque bassline closes our recording ;) If you are into stoned and funky guitar jams with big drums / West coast style keyboards and a hint of French prog, then this session will blow you away :) Great for DJs. Booming production sound. The SUMMER DISCOTHEQUE theme was comped on Stereo Ultra Vol 2 for the Sirocco Productions label. Our record grading: SEALED / M- / VG++ / VG+ / VG 

Vinyl is closer to shiny M- condition overall regardless of a few hairlines / light scuffs from sleeve removal. Light surface noises. A few soft pops / ticks (as you can hear on our soundclip). Booming production sound. Distribution ink stamp to label. The half laminated card sleeve is in strong VG++ condition (closer to M-) with light wear (mostly light ring wear and some light ring creasing). Mini wear mark / nick (with deterioration) to middle of front top edge. Minimal corner wear. Some ring dirt marks and a few other dirt / light abrasions to back sleeve from storage. Mini notation in pen beside a few titles of the tracklisting (back sleeve) and a distribution ink stamp to bottom of back sleeve. Sharp looking item. Camera flash glare to sleeve and label photo. Rare Library Lp!!
