I have worked within the music industry for over 35 years and DJ. big time in all areas within the scene.
So when i call MY OWN PERSONAL GRADING (Its my grading your buying) to all records i sell ! its not for the condition state of the record, but for its playback purposes for the DJ.ING or COLLECTORS ears.
Since i've DJ for many years ! im only importantly trying to let you know the experience of someone who knows how to grade properly, by having a excellent ear for music playback.
(here is my example set) So if i think its not good i will not list it, if i think its a VERY GOOD MINUS, THEN i will call this that, even if it may be a VERY GOOD + to your hearing.
I FEEL THAT IF I UNDER GRADE THEM, THEN ITS A BONUS TO THE BUYER.
MAJORITY OF MY RECORD COLLECTION are well good for playing out in gigs. Some labels may be brilliant, but the playback might be less or vice versa.
PLEASE REMEMBER I ONLY GRADE MY RECORDS ON A PLAY BACK SOUND ONLY ! Thats whats most important here, so if you get both great label condition, and sound and some surface marks on the record, the important thing is the overall playback.
I will honestly give my feedback on all grades of which i think is best, so dont be alarmed there is no con in me.
To ALSO rule out TIME WASTERS trying switch records about and ask for a return, i also personally secretly mark mines and TAKE THE PHOTO OF IT BEFORE POSTING OFF, so if any TIME WASTER tries it on, i will know if they send me back mines or not.
Best to be careful than not, TIME WASTERS IS 2 WORDS THAT DO EXIST OUT IN THE WORLD, So i will not tolerate them in anyway. So please be aware of this.
This is to give my good hard working collection vinyl to the most genuine people out there who will look after the collection within there side of things for the future enjoyment. ITS ONLY FAIR.
I playback all records via my technics turntables and stylus are stanton 500's to get the perfect sound for the either DISC JOCKEY or COLLECTORS EAR.
I ALSO am a collector and have over 60.000 on 7" VINYL ALONE, never mind all the other music formats, so when it comes to records and collecting and being honest in selling, i will always do my upmost to give the best in customer service, customer focus, and build customer relations.
