 PAGAN ALTAR--Mythical And Magical
Pagan Altar are one of the originators of doomy NWOBHM, mixing their '70s influences into occult-tinged heavy metal. Unique mix of hard doom rock and English folk. A masterpiece!
Long-lost NWOBHM band with heavy doom influences fronted by father and son Terry (vocals) and Alan Jones (guitar). Formed in 1978, they managed to release a self-titled demo in 1982. The group developed a cult following in the following years but it wasn't until 1998 that they released their first CD. Their later releases feature re-recordings of songs originally written and recorded (but not released) by the band in the late '70s and early '80s.
Gatefold Double LP version includes insert, new layout and remastered songs. Side D is etched. Limited Edition, Reissue
