Description: This is a like-new copy of a difficult-to-find LP of ragas sung by master Indian vocalist Pandit Pran Nath, who is well-known for his affiliation with US avant-garde composer La Monte Young.

Additional Info: Beautiful copy of one of a very limited number of recordings available of this legendary Indian vocalist. The recordings here were recorded in one session in New Delhi in February 1968, and are very representative of the meditative style Pran Nath is known for. This album was more or less issued by La Monte Young and Marian Zazeela through Gramavision, who was their label at the time. Thanks to the high quality of their presentation, and the German vinyl pressing, this album stands as perhaps the most well-done LP release of this enigmatic figure. Don't miss!
