uk Parlophone Demo R 5155. MINT-. Here is a stunning original uk Demo copy of this excellent very rare Mod-Soul-Beat 45 by 'The Paramounts'. The A-side is a brilliant Mod-Soul 'Curtis mayfield' track, and the B-side is a excellent faster paced beat track. Stock copies are scarce and only ever turn up once in a while, but original Demo copies are pretty much non-existent. This original Demo issue on offer here is in stunning MINT- condition. CONDITION = M-
Both sides have a brilliant original deep glossy sheen, there are no marks, scuffs, scratches or hairlines at all, this very rare Mod-Soul demo has only ever had just a couple of careful plays on a decent turntable since new, so there is no annoying loud surface noise at all and the sound quality is still excellent throughout. The red & white Demo labels are excellent and clean with minimal marking. The 45 comes in a plain brown paper cover which is in good condition with a few small rips around the centre of one side.
If you collect rare Mod, Psych and Freakbeat 45's, and the stranger and more obscure beat/Blue-Eyed Soul and Pop-Sike releases from the mid to late 1960's, then this musically superb very-rare original MINT- Mod-Soul demo 45 by 'The Paramounts' would make a really brilliant addition to any serious collection.
