Description: "Paranoimia" is a song by English synth-pop group Art of Noise released in 1986, from their album "In Visible Silence". The song's better-known version was this one, released as a single, featuring television character Max Headroom on vocals. It was first featured on the 1986 album Re-Works of Art of Noise. The Song peaked at no.12 in the UK and no.6 in New Zealand.
Max Headroom had a cult following in the early days of MTV - this is a piece of quirky music history on a rare rectangular Picture Disc.
Although pleasing to the eye, the overall sound quality of picture disc recordings are not always comparable to the generally better sounding black vinyl discs. This is due in part to the thin third layer of clear vinyl which supports the grooves. Collectors often collect picture discs as much for the "rock art" visual enjoyment and/or rarity as for the sound quality.
