Tape speed is usually 15ips but we also sell recordings at 7.5ips, 3.75ips and occasionally 30ips.
Every tape has been checked for quality. Most of the tapes are in near perfect condition but If there's a problem, we'll tell you. You won't have to "guess" about what you are getting. Our goal is for YOU to be happy with your purchase. If we make a mistake there's no need to get angry. TELL US ABOUT IT. If it's humanly possible, we will fix the problem to YOUR satisfaction!

Up for auction is this 15ips, 1/2 track stereo, MASTER TAPES of the 2nd 1/2 hour of the "Party America" radio show originally broadcast on 2/16-18/1990, from the Global Satellite Network. The sound quality of this tape is fantastic and everything you would expect from a master tape. "Party America" typically featured extended dance mixes of current hits of the time. Included are the tones, commercials, future show promos, and credits although not necessarily all on the same tape. The songs on this tapes are as follows;
- Michel'le - No More Lies
- Richard Marx - Too Late To Say Goodbye
- Madonna - Keep It Together
- Roxette - Dangerous
All of the programs are recorded on Ampex 456 tape. These tapes have been properly de-hydrated and will play perfectly when you get them. Like all Ampex 456 tapes, they will need to be "baked" again sometime in the future. How soon depends a lot on the climate where you live. A warm damp climate will require baking sooner and cold dry one will require baking later. It's that simple. This reel comes with original leader at the head & tail, with some additional leader before the tones.
