The Pastels - Songs For Children A: Heavens Above B: Tea Time Tales
WHAM005 Picture Sleeve. Sleeve Excellent, record un-played C86 Indie.
This is the original release from 1982 on Wham Records. The cover is excellent with minimal creasing to the top and very, slight discolouration to the back, nothing that seriously affects the look of this 30 year old single. The record itself is un-played and the labels are clean and free from spindle marks. It has been stored in a box for many years and other than for inspection for this auction I don’t think it has been out of its sleeve. It’s part of a bigger collection belonging to two people who worked in record shops and around independent distribution through the 80s and beyond.
If you are looking at this listing the chances are you will appreciate what is on offer. It is one of several highly collectable items that we are putting up for sale and other items will include 7”, 12” singles and LPs by the likes of The Pastels, Shop Assistants, Jasmin Minks, June Brides, Divine Comedy, Wedding Present, Brilliant Corners, The Siddeleys, The Freshies, Mighty Mighty, Josef K, The Jazz Butcher and one or two records from New Zealand label Flying Nun by the Chills and The Clean. Most are in immaculate condition, at worst a strong VG++ with many being mint and un-played, with original posters, postcards, free 7”, etc. As you will appreciate, such things do not come up very often.
Postage prices are for first class recorded delivery. HOWEVER we strongly recommend that for listings which sell for more than £ 46.00 the buyer considers paying for Special Delivery. This will ensure that the item is fully covered should it arrived damaged or is lost in transit. Please note that if this option is not taken we will not be held responsible for any shortfall in compensation paid out by Royal mail.
PLEASE NOTE: due to ebay rules we are unable to list postage over £4.50 for this item. However due to its value we feel it should be sent Special Delivery at a cost to the buyer of £6.50. Please bear this in mind when bidding.
