Description
This is a one-sided 45 RPM 1-track acetate.
Artist listed on label is "Pat Vegas/Charles Higgins" and the song is titled "That's What I'll Do".
Pat Vegas was a member of the Shindig house band in the 1960s, and formed the band Redbone with his brother Lolly in 1969.
Charles Higgins was a saxophonist best known for the track Pachuco Hop.
I am guessing, but perhaps this is a song they wrote together with the idea of selling it to a popular recording artist?
There song itself features two male voices accompanied by an acoustic guitar. I am assuming the voices are Pat and Charles?
The track is an uptempo pop song, with harmony vocals - kind of, sort of, like a country version of the Everly Brothers style? This is strictly my approximation. It's a nice tune.
The back side of the disc is blank.
Disc plays Ok but has consistent crackle sound. Not horrible, you can still hear the song, but crackle is present.
Disc is housed in its original "Audiodisc" generic sleeve, which has some water spotting.
The disc label shows some brown spotting as seen in the photos.
