The vinyl is between VG to VG+ condition
Surface of disc has general light scuffing and light needle marks, a couple are faintly detectable to the touch. No skips. Continuous playback on both sides with some light to moderate background noise, depending on one's taste and equipment. On the 'Love and Desire' side, there is a hiss at a point in each revolution for about the first 10-15 seconds leading in but when the music kicks in, this fades out - feel free to listen to the playback clip below for more. 'Ecstasy' side plays with light to moderate background noise as well, in my opinion this side plays better of the two. This record is a white label promo as the pictures show. The labels have some light contact wear, there is a small pen mark of a circled number 3 on the 'Love and Desire' side's label. The songs are posted below to give an exact idea of what to expect from playback. My Technics Direct Drive TT w/ Ortofon OMP 3E cartridge was used to make the recording.

I will have the Goldmine Standard in mind when grading but will be taking plenty of pictures to represent the records condition. Any items having multiple condition grades: First grade is vinyl, second is the sleeve.

"Goldmine Standard" grading:
SS = Still Sealed
Never opened. Any flaws (torn shrinkrwrap, creasing) will be indicated in the description.
NM- = Near Mint Minus
Has been opened, but is still flawless
with no damage whatsoever.
VG+ = Very Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have scuff marks and signs of some wear but will still play almost perfectly throughout, with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the begining is allowable, but the remainder must be nearly flawless.
- Cover: May only have the slightest signs of normal wear.
The majority of records (worth selling) fall under this grade.
- Vinyl: May crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only occasionally,never continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.
- Cover: Normal used cover wear such as ring wear and split seams. If there is abnormal damage such as tears or markings, but the seller still feels that it qualifies as a
"VG", the damage must be described in comments attached to the item.
G+ = Good Plus
- Vinyl: May have continuous crackles, pops, etc... but not so loud as to make the music completely unenjoyable for the casual listener.
- Cover: More than normal wear and tear.
Deon Jackson (born January 26, 1946), is an American soul singer and songwriter. Jackson was born at Ann Arbor, Michigan. He performed in vocal groups and as a soloist in high school, he attended Ann Arbor High School and was signed while still in school by producer Ollie McLaughlin. His first single was his own "You Said You Love Me", followed by "Come Back Home"; both were regional hits in Michigan.[1] Jackson toured heavily on the local club circuit before releasing his next record, 1965's "Love Makes the World Go Round" on Carla Records. The tune became a major pop hit, and a full-length album was released subsequently on Atco Records. Though he is often referred to as a one hit wonder, Jackson had two more successful singles, and recorded until the end of the decade, but after this faded from view, he performed mostly in the Chicago area. Jackson now works as a Student Supervisor at Wheaton Warrenville South High School in Wheaton, Illinois. He currently resides in Arlington Heights, Illinois with his wife Kim, son Anthony, daughter Michelle, and dog Peanut.
